It’s so frustrating when you KNOW…
Something’s off in your body or with your emotions… but you don’t know what it is or how to address it.
You sense a blaring alarm bell trying to tell you something is broken or disconnected inside… but a fog of numbness or tension keeps you from tuning in and understanding what it is.
I know how incredibly debilitating this disconnect can be. You lose sight of yourself – your dreams, hopes, and interests – and feel like the walls are closing in around you.
This lends itself to a host of other issues: sleepless nights, too little or too much appetite, muscle tension, chest pains, spinning thoughts, and difficulty making decisions.
Even if you wanted to, you don’t know where to start or if it’s even possible to tackle it all.
Our bodies are incredibly intelligent.
They’re constantly sending us signals about our physical and emotional states.
But in our busy modern world, it’s so easy to ignore or suppress these signals because there are a million other tasks on that never-ending to-do list!
If you’re anything like me, you find yourself zoning out. You probably watch your pet roam around the house, bathing in the warm sunshine seeping through the window, and think, “Man, I’d give anything to have their life. Lucky bastard!”
Then, you’re shaken out of your daydream by that stupid little ding from your phone, reminding you about another email or phone call you have to handle. You can almost feel the adrenaline and cortisol shooting through your body at that moment: “Ah, yes, there’s that familiar tightness and tension my body has grown used to.”
Looking for an escape, you hop onto social media to destress with a little “harmless scrolling.” But you don’t find the relief you were looking for. Instead, you’re confronted by a constant stream of curated images that make you feel MORE anxious and inadequate. You look at all those “perfect lives” filled with beauty, success, and happiness, and you can’t help but feel like you’re falling short in comparison.
Here they come: self-doubt, insecurity, and the sense that you’ll never quite measure up.
I understand the worries, fears, and stresses…
… that consume our modern-day mind, body, and soul.
Listening to my clients pour their hearts out to me over the years deepened my understanding of how the body stores emotions, which can turn into unhealthy patterns and habits.
It’s like deep down… you know there’s a better way to live… but you have no idea where to begin or how to access that part of you.
It can be a slow and challenging process, but I can give you tools and techniques rooted in ancient wisdom (now validated by modern-day research) and the support you need to heal.
When you meet with me…
The wholeness of your human nature is welcome!
You can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can express ALL your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly.
We might cry, laugh, wonder, or sit in confusion and curiosity together. We’ll explore all the darkness and all the light.
You will be attentively listened to; asked questions to help you explore and understand your emotions and experiences; and be given feedback, insights, and strategies to help you cope with your challenges.
I can help you tune into your body’s inner wisdom and ability to heal by teaching you how to pay attention to your symptoms and listen to what your body is telling you.
It’s normal to feel vulnerable, anxious, and even uncomfortable during therapy. But with time and trust, therapy will help you feel more empowered, resilient, and better equipped to manage life’s ups and downs.
We’ll also explore other aspects of your well-being.
We’ll examine your diet, exercise, sleep patterns, and spiritual practices.
We will incorporate mind-body techniques such as mindfulness, yoga, and meditation into our work to develop a deeper awareness of your body and its needs. With an increased understanding of what’s inside, you can respond with compassion and care to any messages or signals it sends.
With this deeper connection to your inner self, you can unlock your body’s natural power to heal and regain balance in your life. You will see how energy can flow throughout your body with ease… instead of feeling like it’s a giant boulder stuck in the middle of the stream.
Just imagine…
You wake up each morning feeling refreshed and energized, ready to tackle the day ahead.
You feel calm and centered, with a deep sense of inner peace and contentment.
You move through your day with greater clarity and focus, enjoying renewed purpose and direction.
You feel more connected to your body and your emotions, and you’re better able to recognize and respond to your needs and the needs of those around you.
It’s like you’ve been living life with the dimmer switch on and now have the ability to turn the light all the way up.
As you engage in your relationships and activities, you feel a greater sense of ease and flow, as if everything is falling into place effortlessly.
You feel greater joy and fulfillment in your work and hobbies, and you can approach challenges with resilience and confidence.
Your physical health improves as you move with more energy and vitality and have fewer symptoms and illnesses.
Let’s lead you toward a more balanced, whole life.

About Me
I know firsthand stress’s toll on the mind and body.
I grew up in the Middle East during times of war and instability.
As a child, the constant fear of violence and the unpredictability of daily life made it difficult to feel safe and secure, so I learned to store my fears and stresses in my body as a survival mechanism.
I coped with my emotions by shutting down and disconnecting from my inner world. I learned to push my feelings aside and focus solely on surviving. As each day went by, the stress and anxiety manifested physically as tension, aches, and pains.
I didn’t have the tools or understanding of how to process my emotions in a healthy way, which disconnected me further from myself and others.
Until one day…
I completely broke down, sobbing into my plate at the dinner table. I couldn’t hold it in anymore, so the years of pent-up emotion poured out.
This was the start of a long (and sometimes gruesome) journey of healing and reconnecting all my broken parts.
I focused on exercise and physical activity because they helped me release tension and stress. That led me to become a coach and personal trainer. I did that for years.
But I felt like it wasn’t enough.
I knew I needed to dive deeper into the mind. I went on to study psychology, and as I became more interested in how we function within the systems and environments around us, I went on to get my master’s degree in social welfare.
As I married my professional training to my personal experiences, I learned that the best way to heal is by integrating all aspects of health.
I started incorporating my love for the Mediterranean diet I grew up on with the healing powers of food as medicine. I personally experienced how whole, unprocessed foods, along with herbs, spices, and teas, began to shift my internal environment and reduce inflammation.
I learned about the connection between our gut health and mental health and how the foods we eat can impact our mood and overall well-being. I also discovered the importance of mindful eating and the connection between food, emotions, and the body.
I also had to learn how to slow down.
You have to if you’re going to tune into your body and emotions.
I also learned techniques like mindfulness, breathwork, and body-centered therapy to understand how symptoms are the body’s signal that it needs attention or care.
This all helped me understand that my symptoms are just signals, messages from my body that something needs attention or care.
Now, when I experience symptoms or discomfort in my body or emotions, I can meet them with curiosity and compassion rather than fear or frustration. I feel more attuned to my inner world and connected to my sense of purpose and meaning in life.
This is now my everyday inspiration: sharing this wisdom and knowledge with you so that you can find your path to healing through holistic tools and strategies.
